We believe in getting the Saifee Eide Zahabi Institute of Science and Technology recognized as a center of excellence and a leader in technical education. SEZIST will discern for its innovative and creative methodological and pedagogical approaches to students.

SEZIST aims to empower the youth to develop the required technical skill set to excel in the industrial development of Pakistan.
SEZIST – Time Lines
- 1963. Syedna Dr Tahir Saifuddin Sahab the 51st al-Dai al-Mutlaq of Dawoodi Bohra community established SEZIST under the auspices of Saifee Golden Jubilee Education Trust
- 1966. Foundation stone of its main building was laid by Professor Shehzada Hatim Bhaisaheb Hamiduddin.
- 1969. The main building was inaugurated by Syedna Dr Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb, the 52nd al-Dai al-Mutlaq of Dawoodi Bohra community
- 1972. Under the Nationalization policy of Government of Pakistan, SEZIST is taken over by government.
- 2020. After four decades of government control SEZIST is returned to SGJET.
- 2021. The Renaissance of SEZIST. First batch of DAE students is inducted
- 2024. SEZIST gets into partnership with Indus Motor Company and new department of Automobile Technology is inaugurated
- 2025. SEZIST introduces Center for Emerging Technologies with programs accredited with City and Guilds UK
